Times Change, and It Did a Number on My Last Post

    Saturday, February 16, 2008, 10:03 PM [General]

So the last time I posted I was apart of two different Ren-Groups. One, was KCRF, the other was a small town collection of people, The Royal Irish-Rovers. I am no longer apart of that group, and care not to talk about it. But I do want to catch you all up on my AMAZING rennie season!

But, I'll do it later, cuz, my mood just changed...

    First Post: Two Amazing Days

    Tuesday, March 20, 2007, 12:10 PM [General]

So now I have two 'spaces to maintain. Ah well. Myspace was for family and friends, this will be for rennie-buds and connections.

Wow, did St Patties Parade in KC. Channel 9 got me triping in a pot-hole. Funny, but hey, I think I recovered well! Afterward, went to Minskys with C.J. to hang out with Ray and Mike. Bailee was there. I had seen her in the crowd and said hello, but seeing her face-to-face and geting to talk to her after so long was a blessing. Hung out for a few, but then left so I could get Seige lost on 435 and NW Highway-Boonieville USA road. Got unlost and went to my other Ren Groups St. Pattie's celebration. Pitched my stage show to Hawk, group voted, now I have to finish the script, cast it, and do the aproval performance. My happiness doesn't end there! Group, we being an Irish Renfaire, wanted Fae. So Hawk made me director/organizer of all Fae persone. That includes four elemental Fae (Fire, Water, Air, Earth), Satyrs, and a Forest Walker (Druid). Party people went to bed and the party died slowly. I stuck around to talk with Christy 'till Marshall swung by with some Coconut Rum. Toasted to St. Patrick's Day, hung out, but my Seige had to go all the way home to Topeka the next day, so he stayed over again.

Next day he left, but now I get to make an Elk skin pouch for him! It will look so Frigg'n Sweet! But can't tell details because he'll read this. But, anywho. Ater C.J. left the family and I went with Grandma to see the Union Station Dead Sea Scroll display. My breath was stolen! I was in awe at the power that the mere exibit gave off. The Scroll fakes were impressive. The scrolls themselves were a power I could only be lucky to be present to. They had other artifacts there. Oil burners, pottery, coils, Bibles and books older then this era. Took the time to read an old German tome. It was the Book of Genises. Very much a once and a-life-time experience. I am changed for the better. Well that is two very long and amazing days turned in to two very long paragraphs. That's all for now on the update side.
